Indians Report Having Seen the Explorer's Airship Going North.
The following telegram was received by the Canadian Indian Department from his agent at Victoria:
Victoria, B.C., Aug. 11. To the Deputy Superintendent General Indian Affairs, Ottawa: Creditable information received by Agent Lomas from two Indian parties separated by long distances at time of observation that the Andree balloon had been sighted at latitude 55.15, longitude 127.40, pursuing nearly a northerly course.
