Salem aleykom, d'après 'Urwa, lorsque le Prophète (صلى الله عليه وسلم) vint demander la main de 'Âïsha
à Abû Bakr, celui-ci lui répondit : Mais je suis ton frère. - Tu es mon frère dans la religion d'Allah et de
Son Livre, et elle m'est licite, répliqua le Prophète.
The Prophet (ﷺ) asked Abu Bakr for `Aisha's hand in marriage. Abu Bakr said But I am your
brother. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, You are my brother in Allah's religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is
lawful for me to marry.
D'après 'Aïcha : Que le Prophète (ﷺ) l'a épousée lorsqu'elle avait six ans et qu'il a consommé son
mariage quand elle avait de neuf ans, puis qu'elle est restée avec lui pendant neuf ans (c'est-à-dire jusqu'à sa
mort).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ
رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهْىَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ، وَأُدْخِلَتْ
عَلَيْهِ وَهْىَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ، وَمَكَثَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعًا.
Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his
marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
D'après Aïcha : Que le Prophète l'a épousée alors qu'elle avait six ans
et qu'il a consommé son mariage alors qu'elle avait de neuf ans. Hisham dit : J'ai été informé qu'Aïcha est restée avec le Prophète pendant neuf ans (c'est-à-dire jusqu'à sa mort).
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهْىَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ، وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهْىَ
بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ. قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ.
Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his
marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet (ﷺ)
for nine years (i.e. till his death).
D'après Urwa : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a écrit le (contrat de mariage) avec Aïcha alors qu'elle avait six ans et a consommé son mariage avec elle alors qu'elle avait
neuf ans et elle est restée avec lui pendant neuf ans (c'est-à-dire jusqu'à sa mort).
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ،
تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَائِشَةَ وَهْىَ ابْنَةُ سِتٍّ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهْىَ ابْنَةُ تِسْعٍ
وَمَكَثَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعًا.
Narrated 'Urwa: The Prophet (ﷺ) wrote the (marriage contract) with `Aisha while she was six years old
and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e.
till his death).
